- Geographic Information Systems, physical geography, Geographic Education, global climate change, anthropogenic pollution, Quaternary environmental reconstruction, paleolimnology, biogeochemistry, climatology, meteorology, the Great Basin of western United States, alpine & sub-alpine mountain lakes, and mountain geography.
Technical expertise with the setup and maintenance of a lab for the development of paleolimnological and paleoclimatological applications. Experience in planning and supervising undergraduate education in fieldwork seasons through the Great Basin of western United States.
